THE LONG ROAD HOME

 742 KM. ONE JOURNEY. A NEW PURPOSE.

Christopher Paxton is running 742 km from Gqeberha to Cape Town in support of Turning Point Ministries.

For Christopher, The Long Road Home is deeply personal.

Christopher has experienced homelessness and addiction himself and understands how difficult it can be to lose stability, face uncertainty and find a way forward.

After spending time at the Turning Point Ministries Restoration Centre, Christopher began rebuilding his own life. The support and opportunity to make positive changes gave him a chance to move forward.

Now he wants to give back.

In early October, Christopher will take on the challenge of running 742 km from Gqeberha to Cape Town, raising funds and awareness for Turning Point Ministries and the destitute and homeless men we support.

Christopher’s journey is a reminder that a person’s past does not have to determine their future.

Every kilometre represents an opportunity to support men who are working towards rebuilding their lives, restoring independence and renewing purpose.
